So who is really Ëlodie? You can read my biography below to learn more about me and about the events that led me to become an illustrator.
Ëlodie is a Freelance illustrator since 2010 and a stationery designer based in Paris. With a flair for ink, pencil and watercolour, Ëlodie’s style is poetic realism at its finest. Ëlodie has a mixture of traditional illustration talents and is a modern-day Adobe whizz. She is fascinated by Fashion, and also find her inspiration from the nostalgic world of her childhood.
Ëlodie was born and raised on Oléron island in France and likes to go back there as soon as the opportunity arises. As she drew since her childhood, she naturally turned into visual communication studies after her degree. There she received drawing lessons, but also 2D and 3D animation, graphic design and website creation.
Her first project was to work in the cartoon animation industry. At the end of her studies at the E.C.V. Bordeaux, she started to work in a 3D animation company for 3 years.
Finally, dreaming of her independence and wanting to follow her desire to illustrate Fashion, she started a Fashion illustrator career in 2010 and quickly produced illustrations for the stationery brand La Marelle and for others, and participated in several exhibitions in France and abroad.
In 2011 the illustrators agency Colagene contacted her to join their team.
Ëlodie started to receive her first commissions in Advertising, Rochas, Target, Nina Ricci & Ladurée…
